It has been a workhorse for me and occasionally as EDC, depending on what I am wearing since I have the large version. It is tough, rugged, and the length allows me to hammer things using the flipper as the impact point when folded. I carried daily. Unfortunately, the blade started opening in my front jeans pocket after about 10 months. The blade had lost the tension that holds it in the closed position. After it cut me badly 3 times, I stopped carrying it. This knife is outright dangerous. The blade stayed closed when I first bought it, but became loose after repeated openings. There doesn't seem to be any way to fix the problem. It got so bad, the blade would open when I held it horizontally with the closed blade facing the ground. The force of gravity on the blade was enough to open it. I contacted Cold Steel, and I was forwarded to GSM Outdoors. They told me they could not replace or fix the knife. I contacted them several times, and they always refused to fix or replace the knife. They did not even give me a reason why. They designed a knife that becomes dangerous after a period of time, and then refused to honor their warranty when I asked them to fix or replace it. The only problem I have with a design is when the knife is in the open position the top stud digs into your hand when you choke up on the knife. Personally I do not like that it has a clip on the knife, mainly because it's too big to fit in most pockets and because of its size it usually doesn't clip on properly.
