The biggest flaw is the garage. I honestly can’t believe it passed LEGO QC. It comes apart WAY too easily when any amount of force or movement is applied. They could have easily fixed this by using another a combination of 2x2 or 2x4 bricks instead of the 1x2 tall brick, which doesn’t support the weight very well. On the other hand, I love the printed pieces, and the sheer volume of cloth pieces is unrivaled with any LEGO / DUPLO set I’ve ever seen. On a final note, $129.99 is overkill for this set. It was not easy to build and seemed a bit complex for the age group it has been given. I believe it will be a better interactive play as my sons gets older, say around 4 or 5 and can help build it a bit more. Found some pieces a bit small for the young age group. The colouring of the main house blocks also lacked brightness to make it more fun. There is something for everyone, even Mum and Dad have enjoyed interacting with it, both our 4 year old and 2 year love it. Our 2 year old did get a bit bored when we were building it as taking turns and waiting is still a bit challenging at this age. But once it was finished it provided hours of entertainment and fun for both boys together. They shared and played so nicely imitating day to day task around the house. Including washing the car, making breakfast, having a bath ect. This is a great play set to encourage children’s role play skills along with social and language skills. I loved that the house was themed with a sustainability mindset with solar panels, compost and an electric car with charger. Felt the packaging was to miss matched and would have worked better having the same pieces in one bag. Slowly worked it out and while I think the instructions are a great idea would have been good to have arrows to show where that steps of the parts go as can seem hard to find places further along you go. But overall the end result was great and fun and the kids enjoyed themselves. I do not think is good for kids too young as my 22 month old just wanted to throw the pieces around. She just didn’t understand.
