We have a small meat shop in Texas and purchased this grinder 3 years ago. At this point we have ground in excess of 150,000 pounds of pork and beef. This machine has never let us down and has been an absolute beast. We had purchased a spare machine for the \"just in case\" scenario about a year ago but the original machine is still running strong and the spare is still in the original box under a counter. My complaints are that the switch is awkward to use. You really need the foot switch for this if you are using attachments for burgers, jerky, etc. and need intermittent grinding. Also, with attachments it becomes unbalanced and can tip over if you have any weight too far forward on an attachment. Even a light touch may make tip. This LEM exceeds my expectations in every way. Between beef, pork, and venison combined, I usually grind about 300-400# each year. Although not quite as fast as my old Hobart, it is quieter, is more portable, is much easier to clean…, and most importantly, it does an excellent job!
