Large optic window for better field of view and ability to quickly pick up the dot. When compared to my other Trijicon optics the two downfalls is not having an \"auto adjust\" for brightness and battery life is substantially less. However, the shake awake feature helps this. The glass is clear, the optical window is wide and the dot is easy to pick up. I have been top mounting these optics on rifle scopes and it makes for an excellent means to shoot passively when using night vision. The updated night vision settings make for a very capable and versatile optic. Because the battery is top loaded I can swap batteries without the hassle of having to reconfirm zero. These optics are rugged, and with the night vision upgrade, Leupold has raised the bar again.
