The shallower angle along the bottom allows for more purchase with you rear bag, adding stability. I like being able to hook my thumb through the stock as well, which you can't do with the PRS stock. Small and ergo enough for general use, but the design also works really well for bench/long range precision shooting. Super stable and the lever is in a good spot, easy to use but no chance of unintended collapses. For the price I'm not sure there is a better stock currently available.
