Its smooth but grippy when having to reach for it and my hand falls in place like gripping a bat handel or tennis racket, you have complete control with no slick or wet slippage. Its crazy, wish i had this long ago for close quarters engagements. I can fire my rifle with it with one hand supported at my side extremely well with this grip. Its unusually light. Anyone who wears small to medium size gloves with love this grip.
