No matter what you do the waistband stretches and feels too loose. Even if you tighten your belt the pants just droop at the centerline by the zipper and button. Then your belt is higher than the top of the pants. So uncomfortable and terrible looking. I bet that is why in the pictures on the website the model is either wearing no belt or has his shirt over the top of the pants. \n \n Second thing is one pant leg is longer than the other. I would expect better from any company much less 5. 11. Talk about low quality. I have had several different 511 pants but have settled on the Apex. I like the casual, not cargo look. They look good at church and they serve well while working. The deep zippered side pockets worked well while walking in downtown Paris with potential pick pockets lurking nearby. The pants washed and dried fast while on vacation. The navy blue 34 length/35 waist is too long, but my 34 length/34 waist are a little tight around the waist and groin area. I’m 6’5” and 230lbs. I work in mining and also hike weekly in Arizona. These balance on the point between durability, breathability, and mobility. My one critique: I have relatively thick legs and these pants wear out in the crotch area first while the rest of the pants are completely intact.
