The ventilation contrast on the side panels and under arms is very functional. The heart is a pretty good size and allows for a helmet. \n\nIt’s not itchy like the emblem pull over hoodie so that’s a good thing. I just purchased these so Iwe’ll see how they hold up overtime.\n\nFor reference, I am 6 foot tall and 205 pounds and I purchased a large. I have broad shoulders and they definitely did an excellent job designing the fit of this. \n\nMy only issue is that it could be a little bit longer in the torso. Maybe and inch or two. This hoody is VERY baggy in M and looks silly. I would be able to wear it over a bulky sweater. It should be considered as relaxed fit, not regular fit. So I ordered a S to compare and that fits ok, but barely. It seems M was the correct size, it's just cut very loose. I will be returning both. Soft, warm, breathable and a comfy loose fit. Best zipper in the game. The lack of fleece under the arms makes it extra breathable and not as warm as the pullover. I like and use both the zippered pocket and key clip in the right pocket. Didn't realize I needed a cotton Arc'teryx zip up hoody until I tried this on. I've been living in this thing since I got it and couldn't be more stoked about it. Really nice to throw on for a day out bouldering, whether leaving it on or taking it off in between burns, or putting on after a chilly surf session up here in Northern California. By no means a technical garment but a really comfortable, high quality hoody for casual activities or even just slugging around day to day drinking coffee at home or at camp. \n\nI've never had too much of an eye for style but I do really like the style of the hoody. Kinda feels like an old zip up skate hoody I used to have back in the day. I am 5'8\" 140lbs and typically wear a small in Arc jackets but got this in medium. A layer like this is meant to fit a little big and cozy in my opinion. \n\nLastly, it also has a small in-pocket key lanyard to clip your keys on and also a mini zip pocket within the right pocket. Not sure that I'll really use either of them but it's a good thought. If you could get the price down a little more by removing both of those features, it could be worth it. This would still be a killer hoody without them and maybe make the price point easier to digest for folks on a budget.
