When I received it I noticed it was much thicker. When I looked at the composition section, I read: 240gsm Mountain Merino Wool - 95% wool, 5% elastane. It fits well (I'd like it a tiny bit tighter, but it's certainly still fitted), is fantastically soft and comfortable on skin, hasn't stretched in the least bit despite numerous washes, and has become a favorite base layer alongside a few from SmartWool.
