If they came with some longer lasting insoles, they would be perfect. Wouldn't recommend as a riding boot though since the work bottoms tend to get caught in stirrups sometimes when sliding off your horse. We're still giving them some stars because they're Ariat, and they have wonderful customer service. However, they were nothing like any of his other Ariat boots, and when you’re paying over $200/pair, they better be pretty close to what you like and want. This pair of Hybrid VentTEK boots sadly arrived with scuffs all over them, bits of glue here and there, and basically didn’t match the quality we've grown accustomed to with the Ariat brand. We're wondering if someone else had possibly tried them on and they had been returned in not-so-great condition? They also ran very narrow in size compared to his other size D width. Now this won't stop us from purchasing more Ariat boots in the future. However, we don't think we'll ever buy them online again. Hopefully this was just a random fluke, and nothing like this happens again.
