He was so excited at first — the reviews were great, the shoes felt super light, and he even said they might become his new favorite pair.\n\nBut that didn’t last long. As you can see in the photo, the material tore apart after just 2 weeks and 3 days of normal use. For the price, this kind of durability is unacceptable. Definitely not worth it. ASICS doesn't stick to warranty. I have a Nike Pegasus 41 and this Novablast as my two running shoes. There is a huge difference in between those two. The Novablast 5 feels much bouncier and feels like it gives you a better energy return than the Pegasus 41. After only two months of moderate use, the soles started coming apart and completely detached from the shoe. For a pair at this price point, I expected much better durability.\n\nTo make matters worse, Asics customer service was no help at all - they refused to replace or repair the shoes and offered no real solution. I’ve worn Asics for years, but this experience has really made me question their quality and support. Definitely not worth the money. Think before buying.
