None of you may ever see this message, but if it wasn't for this belt there is a pretty good chance I wouldn't be writing this review today. I bought this belt 5-6 years ago and still wearing it everyday, it's old and it's worn but it still works. When hurricane Helene hit Asheville North Carolina I was staying at a friend's house in Swannanoa. When the reservoir failed the entire town went under about 10-12 feet of water the house was swept off the foundation and In a desperate attempt to find any place that was safe I took a chance and jumped into the water with nothing but a extension cord tied to this belt to keep me from getting swept away. Probably the dumbest decision I've ever made in my life but I'm thankfully still here to talk about it. To keep a very long story short I'd just like to say thank you to anyone who had even the smallest hand in creating this belt. It may not be the highest quality leather and it may not be the most durable, there may be much better belts out there but this one saved my life. So as far as I'm concerned it's worth more than its weight in gold and I plan to have it framed when I finally get it replaced. I hope the pictures will get displayed on here. Even if no one other than an automated system and a handful of customers see this review I could care less. I'm not here to convince anyone to buy this belt or to even really say I'm happy that I did buy it. But I will never regret it?
