The sleeves only have a plain nylon lining that is nice for easy on/off but really doesn't do anything for warmth. That nylon lining doesn't feel great on bare arms either unlike a regular sweatshirt. I even cut a small hole in the sleeve lining to make sure I was correct in thinking there is no insulation in there. The sherpa lining in the body and hood is very warm for a sweatshirt. I tried on a few in person and there was some variation in size between individual sweatshirts, probably best to try on in person if possible. My size large fits big like at least an xl in other more casual or outdoor brands.
