Pockets keep your tools closer to your body than aprons or tool belts and are better for your back. Carhartt has gone down hill in the terms of quality and craftmanship. They no longer provide the pants I want. I'm looking else where for work clothing. They have simply termed away from the ideals that made them great. They fit more like a Straight cut instead of a relaxed which were the ones I bought in the store. I don't understand the description of these being Relaxed and also Straight? I believe the ones in the store had the same name and the labels in both pants have the same model number, but they fit totally different.
