If you plan on wearing a pair of pants like these year-round, I recommend buying them in the fall when it starts to get cooler. The heat of summer is the wrong time to buy new pants, especially ones make mostly from cotton! Buying in the fall gives some time for the fabric to wear down in time for the next summer. I am looking forward to see how these double-fronts wear and hope that the gusseted crotch will prevent any rips in that area. One thing that I am already missing about my Vertx Cutback Technical Pant is the dual angled rear yoke pockets. I had to stop carrying my flashlight at all times because I anticipated it falling out of my back pocket.
