They were my favorite socks for a variety of reasons, chief among them their softness and width. In other words they slipped on easily and did not cramp the feet. I should have bought more right away but didn't fit a variety of reasons. Then a few weeks ago I finally called and ordered 4 pairs of the same with different colors. I could tell right away they were thinner. I could live with that. But when I tried a pair on they were much too tight. I held them up and compared them to the pair I'd bought 2 years ago and the difference in width was obvious even by sight. I really detest buying things sight unseen. I still have the good pair from two years ago, but sadly it looks like they are, like many products, a thing of the past. I'd get more if them if they still existed. I sent the tight ones back last week and just got a noticed they were received. I am truly sorry this happened and was really counting on them being the same as before. Things change, not always for the better. The service was great, but from now in I'll be buying socks in retail stores (if available) so as to be able to see before purchase what they look and feel like. I am not blaming your company, it just seems to be the way of the world, and I don't like it.
