I am a big fan of the idea of being able to zip down although I have hunted 4 times in these and the zippers are so stiff they have now broke. The connection point of the boots to the pant itself was sloppy and leaked on the first hunt (not fun in the Idaho cold.) now I am on hunt four and things are getting worse. I am very disappointed. They do just fine in the water and don’t leak at all. They are uninsulated, so plan for that if you’re hunting later in the year. The biggest problem that for both my dad (5’9”) and I (6’) they ride up in the crotch and there is absolutely no stretch in the knees. If I bend my knees to 90 degrees it feels like my knees are going to break through the waders.
