They are so comfortable, has an option for a wide foot like I have and also has extra padding around the ankles for support or cushion. I got the ones with steel toe as well and I’ve had them for about 6 months and wear them 12+ hours a day and none of the stitches have come loose or fallen off. You can rest assured once my current pair get too worn out I will definitely be buying another pair of the Athens. AFTER APX 6 MONTHS WEAR, THE HEEL PADDING ON THE INSIDE OF THE BOOT, THE STITCHING BREAKS LOOSE AND THEN FALLS DOWN INSIDE THE BOOT WITH NO WAY TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING. ONCE THE PROBLEM STARTS, MIGHT AS WELL THROW THE BOOTS AWAY BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO WEAR THEM ONCE THIS PROBLEM STARTS. IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF THAT INTERIOR PADDING FROM THE ANKLE UP TO THE TOP OF THE BOOT WAS STICHED HEAVIER TO KEEP THIS ISSUE FROM HAPPENING. Steel toes are required by my employer and comfort is required by me. I found both with these Boots. I know I'm going to enjoy years of quality service from these Boots as I did wearing Georgia Boots in my 35 years of Fire Service. No complaints with the miles I've gotten out of them. Only downside to these boots is they are not truly waterproof.
