They fit a little tight in the thighs at first but after a couple of wears the thigh area stretched out and the fit really well. The built in knee pads are great for antelope hunts where you have to crawl through grass and cactus. I keep a pair of leather gloves to protect my hands in the cargo/ leg pockets so they're handy to grab. The stretch fabric and quiet material make them great too. Although they're a bit warmer and heavier than some others, I'd have zero problem wearing these in September hunts or summer scouting trips. The vent is super nice, just wish it was a bit larger, but they aren't too hot or heavy at all. Yet they still seem like they'll be great in October-November hunts. The knee pads are my favorite part as I thought they were a bit silly, but out camping with them and building fires or setting up a tent on hard rocks, they are a game changer. All I can say is Kings has a problem with consistency. This pant has a greater taper at the bottoms, I hate it, but the other pant is perfect. You just don’t know what you will get “size” wise you order from kings.
