Comfortable, waterproof, and the tread didn’t gather a bunch of mud and dirt. A boot that provides a lot of protection and stability. One thing I think I like about this boot compared to other mountain boots I've used, is it is light. First pair lasted roughly 3 months. Wore out the soles and the Rand cracked at the bend of the foot, but they were very comfortable and my feet loved them. My second pair however are not fitting correctly. They have a lot of pressure on the balls of my feet just behind the big toe. It was a little tight in my heel box at first, but seem to have broken well. Very good support on the ankles. I hunt elk in the coastal range, and more than for a very steep and onerous pack out with some very heavy quarters on my back. They performed well, and even though they weren’t properly broken and I didn’t get any blisters. Waterproofing is pretty good.
