There a hard ridge in the tongue there which you can feel from the inside. For some reason it's only hurting my left foot, which makes me think there's some inconsistent manufacturing issue. I previously wore Sawtooth II Low shoes with comfort, but wanted the waterproof version - unfortunately that small change somehow turns comfortable shoes into uncomfortable ones (perhaps they used stiffer material?
