I only wear the for hunting season and with a nice wool sock the 1000g insulation keys my feet toasty. Not as lightweight as boots I've had in the past but decent. I've owned many Rocky boots and these are another example of an adequate boot for around $140 that gets the job done in temps down to teens. I wear polypropylene liners and merino wool and can sit for 5-6 hours comfortably. Most Rocky boots last me 6-10 seasons if used only for hunting and the most common failure is sole separation.
