They fit well, looked great, and had sturdy soles - overall, they made a strong first impression.\n\nHowever, by the 11th, I began to notice signs of poor-quality materials. The fabric on the inner rims of both shoes had started to split, and by the 20th, the damage had worsened significantly.\nIt's incredibly disappointing, especially considering the £140 price tag. At that price point, you'd reasonably expect a pair of shoes to last at least a year before showing significant wear. Even more frustrating is that I wasn’t putting them through any harsh conditions - just walking around town on paved surfaces. They started to degrade during what should have been the “breaking-in” period.\n\nUnfortunately, I can't recommend these shoes based on my experience. No where. Near the same fit. I don’t know if the last is different or what the issue is. I went to buy a pair today. The shoe salesman, after I made a comment said that they hear that all the time and they were not selling. In fact, he said all Salomon were 35% off to get them out the door. He said they would not be reordering. They used to be a great shoe….
