At 55 I tore my meniscus after surgery was told I had no cartilage left around the knee. As time went on I was only able to run 10 minutes 2 or 3 times a month. At 60 was told to give up running and replace both knees.\nI looked into best shoes for bad knees, the recommended shoe was a low I think it’s called toe drop of 5 or lower Kinvara had a 4. I ordered a pair and began leg strengthening exercises. Running shoes for regular training should not be made of plastic mesh uppers; this material is for racing shoes/spikes. This model has a terrible lacing system; you dont feel locked in.
