My big gripe is that I got the wrong color. I trained a lot before the walk, too. That’s 184 miles of every kind of terrain imaginable. Never slipped on wet cobblestone or muddy, steep trails over mountains. Superb shoes! For me, these are the best! The balance of comfort, stability, grip, and trail feel blend excellently. I have a moderately wide foot and they fit perfectly. I use them in northern and southern Utah on a lot of hard, technical trails, and they have held up very well. When the arrived they were super comfortable and stylis. I took them out for one run, and noticed after my run the material at the front of my shoe where my toe sit was scratched off. I don’t if it was the material or not but cause I have always read good reviews about gortex, but I returned the immediately. This is my first pair of Sauconys, wanted to try something to rotate with my Altra Lone Peak 8. Fit is perfect for me, I have a wide forefoot and mid foot but with average foot volume so I’m swimming in most wide model shoes. These feel like an extension of my foot, just did 4 miles out of the box effortlessly. I get a new pair every 250 miles, then phase out the old while breaking in the new. Can run 12 miles out of the box. No problems every. Firm upper. foot doesn't slide around, while also have a reasonable toe box. sole never breaks down or gets spongey. Older pairs are still very responsive and I'm a 215lb runner. ~30 mile a week.
