I can wear this in the morning to walk the dog when it's in the 40's or 50's and still be comfortable in the afternoon when the temperature climbs. These also are fantastic for under costumes for any parents out there! Smart Wool is so comfortable, and helps keep me from getting too hot as other base layers tend to do. I could wear these every day when its cold and be happy with my choices. Great shirt that could be worn casually or as a base layer which is comfortable and soft. Don't be fooled by this wool being too itchy, this is not like other wools out there. Merino wool, in my opinion, is the best there is. Cools you when you're warm and keeps you warm when you are cold.
