Used them to summit Baker the other day, they dump heat but also manage to block wind exceptionally well. The inner thigh vents are clutch. I accidentally sent a crampon into one of the legs while stepping down and fully anticipated a tear, not a single mark. Can’t wait to get these out more! Also the fit seems true to size. I’m 6’ and 190lbs, I wear a 34 in everything and the M/L fit me perfect. Should have sized up to a Large (36\") for these pants. Waist is adjustable with the velcro/zipper contraption, but the glutes and hip flexors are pretty snug. I also wasn’t impressed with the inner thy vents. \r\nI had a salt trip down in the MS marsh coming up and I figured out of all the fly fishing brands out there- most have a hard time building a pant that fits my build. I am 160- 5-8” and my waist is between a 30-31, I’ve also got some thick thighs. \r\nI have the dehavilland and the lites and they fit me awesomely. \r\nI ordered the 206s and gave them a whirl. I spent 4 days in 102 degrees w/ 110% humidity. They were awesome- casting from the boat, wading and going to the bar afterwards. The khaki color is darker than it appears- perfect for fishing and will work great in the mtns. They dry fast and breathe well. They also stay pretty damn clean- I’ve had these types of materials in wading pants before and they soak up the dirt. \r\nThe hip vents work pretty well, the pockets are deep, and the stretch is awesome. I wear a size small and they fit just right. Compared to the Sitka Ascent, Kuiu varieties, FL, and other outdoor brands these stand alone. The tapered fit, the sandstone colorway, the inside hip vents, the back pocket design, the front pocket design and the customizable waist make for a next-level setup. I will use these during an upcoming mil contract gig. Wow! Love the fit/feel of these. The stretch in the fabric is exceptional for range of motion. These will be nice enough looking for around town…but rugged enough for the backcountry.
