Couldn’t pass up that deal even though I was concerned about the short handle and my man hands. I’ll tell you what, as soon as I got this knife out of the package my concerns were quickly dismissed. The handle feels great in my hands. The blade is razor sharp out of the package. \n\nI took this knife as my sole blade on a weekend camping trip and I was not disappointed in the least - I cut wood shavings, whittled, cut meat and bone for grilling, pretty much whatever you’d use a knife for when camping and this thing is still razor sharp after a week of moderate use. The blade is thin but this lends itself to keeping it lightweight and letting it have a needle sharp tip for piercing. The steel sharpens easily enough and takes a mean edge, and the blade has more than enough belly to let you make use of it if needed.\n\n The included sheath is also light and flat enough that if you need to wear it around your neck by the chain under your shirt its not very obtrusive at all. \n\nWorn underneath a hoodie, no one will ever know it's there.\n\nMy only criticisms are that the handle is not going to lend itself to repeated long term use and makes it so you use a thumb along the spine grip most of the time.\n\nThe second criticism is that while the steel takes a great edge, the sheath seems to full it quicker as well as rub the finish off along the flats of the blade, but this is cosmetic and I really don't mind it as much as the fact that the sheath seems to speed up the dulling of the edge.\n\nStill an overall great knife for the price I paid for it, I don't want this webpage says $51.99 because thats nearly twice what I paid including
