I gave this, the lower end model, although it was only $50 less money than the one with more functions to my son. I gave it to him along with a stand and a cover for it. He has only been using it occasionally for a few months and already the film overlay on the display panel is peeling away from the display. Unlike the more expensive model that I kept, this lower model only has this film overlay to depict the various \"touch\" functions to use for the various grilling features. If this film overlay continues to to come off, it will be virtually impossible to know what cooking function and/or temperature controls are in effect. I am totally disappointed. This model was brand new; purchased May 2025 but not used until September or later when I gave it to my son. I paid $350 for it and had I known this would be an issue, I would have never purchased this particular model. The model I purchased for myself cost $400 and was purchased in July and this model has a \"selector\" know which is used to select desired cooking functions, so hopefully it will not be likely to have the problem that my son's grill is having. The stand and the side table arrived today and it turns out the side table is not compatible with the stand. The stand it is compatible with is out of stock and there is no side table that is compatible for the stand that came with this bundle. I'm very confused as to why I would be offered a accessory I can't use.that is not the quality design I am accustomed to from Ninja.
