No protective sleeve or sheath...","text":"Caution!! This knife does not come with a sheath or protective sleeve of any kind, so you have to carry and store with the blade exposed. It is a great knife, one of my favorites for de-boning and processing. But downright dangerous to transport!! I was just preparing to buy a few more of these knives for myself and my hunting buddies, but I think I am gonna go with something safer this time which is a real shame as I really like this knife. It stays sharp, is easy to sharpen, and has helped me process dozens of elk over the years. I used to be a hunting guide, and this has become one of my favorite boning knives I used. But I can’t wrap my head around why it doesn’t come with a sheath. Every other Outdoor Edge knife I’ve owned came with one. I like this knife so much I still carried it in my backpack with a makeshift sheath — which it eventually cut right through, along with my pack. It’s sharp enough to do that, which says a lot about the blade, but not having a sheath just doesn’t make sense. Fantastic knife overall, but please, Outdoor Edge — include a
