The only annoying thing is if you want to use the locks on the case one side can be hard to get the key and maneuver almost thought I had the wrong key for one side other than that great case. The state where I live enacted new laws this year that require rifles and handguns to be in locked hard sided cases when transported in automobiles. I looked at several other cases from several other retailers. Many options were either too cheap or far too overkill for my needs. This case fit perfectly in the middle. I really like the \"pluck to fit\" foam insert. I was able to form the insert to my rifle in about 15 minutes. I got one that was very expensive and it turned out to be very heave too. Then I found Plano and bought this case. the all weather 42\" and it was just right. The latches are good and the overall stiffness is very good. The weight is very useable. I liked it so much I thought I'd get another Plano case for my other rifle, so I got the Tactical model. It was cheaper and well it was made by the same company. I was very disappointed. Moral of the story, spring a few extra bucks and get the case that is worth the money, because the All Weather is the better buy by far. Latches, stiffness, weight and overall better case is the one you want to be in when the bears come home.
