I took it with me to scout in the woods a couple days then I hunted the junior hunt with a mentor with this call. It sounds fantastic, one of my favorite calls I have ever bought. BUT, by the time these scouting periods and couple hunts were over, they latex was already stretched and warn out. I don’t know if I got a bad one or they all do this. This would 100% be my new go to call if it lasted longer. It’s soft in the beginning but not squeaky and you can get good rasp when you want to. Very versatile great sounding call.
