Red Rock MOLLE Shotgun Scabbard

{"reviews":[{"id":2342036,"locale":"en_US","rating":5,"title":"Here's how to custom mold the scabbard to your particular shotgun !!!","text":"I just received my order for the Red Rock Shotgun Scabbard and it is well made. It's Cordura with a plastic layer for shape in between the fabric layers. I understood what some previous buyer's were saying when they stated that it was tight because it seems to be INITIALLY molded for a bare shotgun with no attachments. I have a Remington 1100 Tactical with a Mesa Tactical 6 shell side saddle and Picatinny top rail plus a Choate Combat bolt handle. So, I KNEW prior to purchase that I MAY be returning it IF I couldn't make it fit. Well, initially, it got up to the bolt handle, but I noticed a lot of space under the shotgun so I squeezed top and bottom of the scabbard and it slid it TIGHT. When it got to the side saddle it was close and got caught on the edge binding of the scabbard. Once that was flipped out, I could insert the 1100 in the rest of the way. The trouble is that the plastic is hard and once the shotgun is removed it will retake most of it's original shape. I happen to live in the northeast and my heat is on already. Using a forced hot water system through cast iron, my radiator have 120 degree water running through them that ends up equating to a 90 degree radiator. I figured that laying it on top of the radiator would soften the plastic insert and take shape and that it \"should\" be safe since it can't be any hotter than in a car trunk in Texas in the middle of summer or in direct sunlight in Arizona. I laid the shotgun and scabbard on top of the radiator for 30 mins. as a test and it relaxed slightly, so I left it on for the rest of the afternoon. Once the heat went off for the night and the radiator cooled off, the scabbard retained the shotgun's shape.
