Went with the Scheels cover due to a black Friday sale. I have two intermediate SUV back Ruffland Kennels, the intermediate size Scheels cover fit perfect. The quality is good, I do think they are a little lighter fabric and a little less insulated then the mud river covers. The good in that is they don't take up as much space during the summer in storage, bad is they might not be as warm. I like the design, as far as number of pockets and location/size, better then the mud river. They also have good ventilation windows. You can connect two kennels with covers on both of them, however, you will only use 3 of the 4 connectors on Ruffland kennels. The top connector on the back of the kennels you can't put on. I just used the bottom two connectors and none on top. I didn't like the way the door zippers closed with the top connector on. It's not perfect but it works. If you bought a mud river cover from Ruffland directly, you would be able to use all 4 connectors, however even if I did that I don't think I would use the top ones due to how the door zipper close with them on. Overall I'm happy with them, I would buy again if it was on sale. However, since regular price is the same as the mud river, I would buy the mud river over this due to having door openings on both ends and a little heavier build/more insulation.
