I wanted a metal scoop that didn't take up space. This fit the bill. I've actually owned this for 10 years. I've been replacing my gear with lighter materials and it occurred to me that this could possibly be mad of titanium, the trowel is heavy (relatively) and it didn't make the cut in my latest weight assessment because it's not \"essential\" and weighs too much.
