As far as loading them without the assistance of a speed loaders I can get 14 to 15 out of the 17. The 21 round extended magazines I can get 19. Not sure if there is a trick or different way I can load them to get the maximum but I will try to work them out after I get a speed loader. The base plates make a perfect fill for each make of the 366 for a smooth and complete fit. The 17 round was perfect in the gun and the mag pouch. I teach people for response to active shooters. If you want to put some cover fire to get away your pistol mag should be enough. If you are going to respond then your pistol mag isn’t enough. I also carry 2 mags in a slim line belt pouch from On your 6 designs. The first review was bad. They were too tight, didn’t allow the slide release, blah, blah. The second corrected some of that as the mags got broken in by use. Now just know that these mags need to be broken in. Use a good mag loader. I’ve put several hundred rounds through each of them and they run perfectly. The extra base plates are great! I run three in my 365XL with that base and set up one as my back up mag for my 365. That small CCW with 17 rounds… Y’all can take down my first review.
