I used a few different brands before slick trick but they never flew like my field points . I would have to tune each broadhead and many times just dispose of a broadhead because it did not fly right. Never had that problem with a slick trick. I built a few broad heads and noticed that the base of the secondary blade does not fully seat forward into the ferrule. This causes there to not be a flush fit between the lock washer and ferrule which causes the Broadhead to have a fairly significant wobble (more than I’d like to have at around .060”). Long story short, I called slick trick/outdoor group and the gentleman told me there was a redesign in 2020 witch was supposed to increase the locking tension on the blades, but results in the lack of flush fit. I’ll most likely modify the blades and get them to spin true, but it sure is a bummer. \n\nNote: The ferrules themselves spin perfectly true when fully threaded into an insert.
