However, the heal wears out before the rest of the sock as with most other brands. For that reason, and because of the cost, my husband won't let me purchase Smartwool for him. That's too bad because his feet are often cold and Smartwool are so nice and cozy! To help me get more life out of my socks, my husband darns mine - which is sweet!
