This year, when I read that the Twitch III had been released, I just had to have one! The slim profile fits nicely in your front pocket. The assisted open is lightning fast. While I wasn’t so sure if I liked the lock position in front of the blade, it does allow for one handed closing. I used it abused it and eventually gave it to my friend. Almost a decade and a half later I decided to buy the twitch 3. This knife is nothing compared to the original it's sad that this is somehow called the third generation of originally an amazing night. The twitch three is light and does have deep carry like the original although the clip on the original was much nicer. The knife does not operate on ball bearings like the original and the locking mechanism is equivalent to a $10 knife. I’ve done this for at least 6 SOG knives so it isn’t operator error. SOG just drove the screw in too tight and striped it on the way in. Emailed customer service 3 days ago and have not heard back. Flat and unobtrusive. Sharp.\nCons: very smooth/slippery - legit difficult to hold on to. Needs some stippling or rubber pads on the sides. Also the clip is not very tight and comes on the wrong side for a right-handed person, but the screw is on so tightly so I’ve had difficulty moving it to the correct side.
