I removed the insoles and found the only weak link in the boots. I knew of Spenco from a couple of buddies that used to race in the Spenco 500 bike race in the 80s. The heel and back portion of the insole are adequate. The front part of the insole does not have enough gel. It is very flat and does not provide full foot comfort.
