Good price, they seem durable. In warm weather they're HOT, but that's still a much better alternative than having no protection. I have been happy with them so far. They are so easy to put on and take off that you really have no reason not to wear them while cutting! Buckle it on and go! The apron style is nice for when it is hot out, so as to help you stay cool. I like that the outer shell is made of nylon because it cleans up easy. Don't know how well it will hold up if you were to do much work out in the woods/brush though. For that, you would probably want something with a tougher shell than nylon. Be aware, I believe that these come in only one size. If you are shorter like me, (I'm about 5' 7\") they should fit perfectly. For taller people, you may want to get something that offers different sizes, so that these don't come up short on you.\r\n\r\nOverall, these chaps are a great choice for the occasional user! Get a pair, because they are a LOT cheaper than a visit to the hospital! Even if you do get cut by the chain, these should reduce the severity of the cut. Well constucted and fit well. Not as cumbersome as I expected they might be. \"Apron\" description is a bit misleading as they strap around both legs separately. Glad I noticed instruction on tag to wash before use. Washing doubled the bulk of the inner safety layers and will no doubt make them more effective in the event need them to stop the saw.
