Very easy to use and I was limping up trees immediately. The design of the attachment is such that the angle of the saw in the cradle uses its own weight to help saw the limb. Getting anther pruner for my sister. The sales guy showed me this extension. What a GREAT addition!!! I have had the GTA 26 for a few years. Works great. This extension works great...on 6' higher branches. I some reviews, people thought the 26 was a bit heavy. I do not agree with that, but the weight of the 26 ADDs to the benefit of this extension. Start the saw...rest the moving chain on the branch...and the weight of the saw cuts effortlessly through the branch. You know those branches that are high enough to be a pain to prune, but extend low enough to get in your face...this extension eliminates those branches...easily.
