I don't have to wear layers of clothes underneath because with the insulated lining keeps me very warm. The weight isn't to heavy. Having the 2 way zippers is a must cause I always have to zip from the bottom to get in my car. And the hood covers my whole head and doesn't slide off. I may exchange it for a different color to be truthful.
