I purchased this Verve 2 low step and the brake sucks. Sometimes it grabs where it should and sometimes the lever goes to the bar before stopping. Took to the shop and they found nothing. I demonstrated again and the grumpy service guy said \"oh. Well I guess we'll have to warranty under Trek and get a whole new system. We'll call when it's in\". NEVER a problem with any parts or performance. Only had my new Verve for 4 months and 3 rides. My gears have jumped all the place. The rubber end to my kickstand has fallen off and my tube in the front tire went flat (w a visual small hole leak) that I had a bike repair shop fix (on site during my ride). They also adjusted the gear guard, which I feel like should have been properly done at Trek Columbia when I bought the bike. My sister has the same bike but 2 years older and hasn't had any problems w hers after multiple rides.
