I installed the skull and antlers in a freezer for a total of 4 days (2 days no protection, 4 days in a freezer).\n\nUpon receipt of the Velvalok product I let the antlers thaw for 4 hours and applied the entire 12 oz liberally to the antler velvet. It took approximately 5 days to feel that the velvet was secured to the antler without slipping.
