I have a Genesis SX335 grill which I love. I ordered one Rotisserie from a different company (it was much cheaper) and it was too short and the drive motor did not correctly align the spit. So I researched extensively to find this kit which is supposed to fit my grill (I guess the Genesis SX335 is part of the 2022 Genesis 300 series). It was quite expensive! I received the kit and I was able to make it work, but it does not correctly align for length. In order to get the drive end to engage with the motor, the other end rides on 4 square sides in the slot on the grill. Additionally, the spit is really flimsy. I would not trust putting a 15 pound rib roast on the spit. I think it would bend due to all of the machined places (significant cross section reductions) along the length of the spit. And the Handle is a JOKE. There is no way the handle can be used to spin the rotisserie in the case of an off-balance meat package. The spit is a two piece affair and the threaded joint is a point of failure. It loosens up over time will eventually ruin the threads. You must continually tighten the threaded connection on the spit. My opinion-Make the spit in one piece, remove all of the circular machined areas and send a guide bushing that can be adjusted to fit along the length of the spit in the cast aluminum grill basket rotisserie saddle. That way, on spit could be used on any Weber Grill and you would greatly reduce the complexity and add strength to the spit. Also put a real grippable handle on it. It has a posted limit of around 7 lb, but if your hunk is well balanced on the spit, then that really doesn't seem to matter. I just finished a 20 lb full-sized picnic ham, being careful to make sure it was well balanced. NO problem. The motor hardly made any sign of being worked. \n\nThe rotation rate is nice and slow. I wonder if they ordered the wrong unit or just didn't know how to properly install. This unit perfectly fits my Weber EPX-335 grill. Assembly was easy. However, one issue that I had to figure out was the diagram in the instructions showed attachment of the bracket to the side of the grill body using the BOTTOM set of holes. For the Genesis 2022 series, it needs to be mounted in the TOP set of holes. But, once I figured that out, the rest of the set up was easy. \nI removed the grates and found I had plenty of room to put a catch pan beneath my 4 lb. roasting chicken to catch the juices. Some mentioned a pan wouldn't fit. I didn't find that to be the case. I am also confident that if I had a 6-10 lb. roast on the spit, that would fit as well. Just make sure the drip pan's sides are about 2\" high maximum. You don't need anything more than that.\nOverall, the motor is quiet and powerful enough to handle the job. The skewer rod is the right size with rotation notches appropriately placed to fit the various grill configurations. \nI give this 5 stars for quality and ease of use.
