The grill did just fine. Easy to operate. Wish the top had a hinge system. It would have made things a bit easier. So far I am loving everything about it. I did not want the rack that came with this, so I ordered the solid rack separately and have been happy with it. Poor design feature by modifying the ash catcher to insert into the inserts where the legs go on other models. The metal on the ash catcher is so thin (and sharp) it easily bent while trying to align it to the base. THIS STEP SHOULD BE DONE IN THE FACTORY. I called customer support on 8/25 and they said they would send a replacement. No email confirmation so I sent an email inquiry which was finally answered on 9/27. \nVery frustrating to have a grill that can’t be used one month later. I also really like the \"cage\" for it. I don't really care for the grilling surface itself. It's cool that I can put several different inserts into the center circle; but that will be a small percentage of what I use it for. With the one touch feature I can cook however is needed for the style of cooking required. The bonus of a folding table and the option of rolling it out of the way when being used is fantastic! Honestly, the Weber grills are the best charcoal grills I have ever used. I will always use Weber for my grilling/smoking habits! The one thing I could see changing is the locking caster wheels, although they seem to do the job fine though. There is just something about the charcoal flavor. The best thing about the grill is it is so easy to control the temperature. The vents make it a snap.
