I used this on a rifle that is already dead on iron sights and this was off high right. The other reviews say these are good but mine came in a partially opened package with debris on the inside of the case and the device itself was dusty and the magnet had carbon residue all indicating this had been used. It also had white lines on the lens end of the device that looked painted on and don’t look like they belong. I’m not sure if they got one returned as new or “gently used” but it was not new. The one star is because the laser was not aimed at all correctly, because if it were I could have lived with the other stuff. I love the simplicity and versatility of the laser bore sighter. It will get you close within a few seconds. After using it on a few scopes though and then going to the range I have found it wasn't as close as I was hoping. I have still found better luck locking down the rifle, removing the bolt, and looking through the bore at a target. \n\nI am huge fan of wheeler products and the precision you get out of them when working on your rifles. This specific product is 4/5 for me as it still does a great job but it's just not as precise as I had hoped. Two rifles I recently setup with the laser bore sighter didn't even end up on paper so you spend time and money wasting ammo trying to figure out where you are missing.
