I really needed these boots to work because I need aggressive tread for my outdoor blue collar job. I agree with other reviewers, the toe box is much too narrow. And because of the rubber around the outside of the sole, the boot will not stretch or relax as it breaks in. I kept trying to wear them, hoping they would become more comfortable. But it is not happening. All that happened is that now I can't return them. Total waste of money. I got both to try on. Both run way too small and narrow. I have pretty narrow feet and the toe box were squeezing my toes a lot. For reference, my old pair of Bogs Freedom Lace were in size 6.5 and I could wear normal or winter wool socks with no issues becuz the toe box is spaced nicely. These boots fit at least 1/2 to 1 full size small when I have on smartwool hiking socks. The boot is also extremely narrow to the point my foot is losing circulation.
