The Composite toe makes them lighter weight than traditional steel toe while offering safety. The sole is flexible and light weight, no dramatic elevated heel, feels like a comfortable hiking boot. I work on a year round excavation company in New England, and I hate cold feet. These make my feet sweat, but I'm not cold!!
